Summer Hair Commandments

With temperatures in the 90's and humidity through the roof it can be a tall order to have to manage your hair every morning before work! Don't worry I am here to tell you about the easiest summer hair do's that you can actually do yourself before you melt!


Simply put, don't over-think this style. The goal is to look like you just got out of the pool and your hair is getting whipped around by the wind. Summer hair is messy, all the hair is not going to behave like you want it to, that's why it's refereed to as unruly!


One of my favorite is the half up, half down do; and throw in a little braid or two to make it boho chic:

Then there is also the sexy wavy beach look, below two examples:

   

One starlet that does wavy messy hair well is Blake Lively.

If your hair is a bit thin the curling iron (big barrel) and some root teasing finished with a light hairspray does the trick. 

If your hair has a lot of body, maybe your better of adding a light mousse after the shower letting air dry and then adding some curling iron scattered, shake your head and that should do it. Remember you don't want to look perfectly curled, and if it does we're missing the point...
